New Jersey's Mental Health Hotline offers emotional support, guidance, and mental health referrals. Call 877-294-HELP (4357).

 

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Disaster Distress Helpline is a free, confidential, treatment referral and information service for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders. Call 1-800-985-5990 or Text TalkWithUs to 66746 (TTY 1-800-846-8517).

 

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) HelpLine is a free, nationwide peer-support service providing information, resource referrals and support to people living with a mental health condition, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers and the public. HelpLine volunteers are available Monday-Friday 10 AM- 10 PM - text “HELPLINE” to 62640 call 1-800-950-NAMI (6264), use the “Chat with us” widget on the website, or email at helpline@nami.org.
